After 25+ years in corporate life, I retired. Well, I thought I did but then I brought my love of crochet to the forefront of my life and haven’t looked back.
Growing up in a family of “handmaking do’ers” turning this crochet hobby of mine into something more – is rewarding and challenging.
Taking an inspiration to a finished crochet design – seeing it evolve with new yarn, stitches and stitch pattern, is very fulfilling to me. Like planting a seed and ending with a beautiful edible vegetable!
Writing crochet patterns, the professional editing process and the ultimate goal – publishing the pattern for you – keeps my technical brain fed too. I am proud of my patterns and am happy to bring them to you.
Keep that crochet habit fed with wonderful fibers offered to our crochet hooks and the crochet patterns of which to create!
Never be caught with idle hands!
As with most of the important events that shape our lives there are folks that came before us leading the way through inspiration. Beginning with my Grandmother’s insightful nature and my desire to learn, the Cross Blanket Collection of which I lovingly call the “Lily Collection” in honor of her, came about during a period of care giving, heartache and gratitude.
Also a career shift!
My journey continues to evolve from that inspiration. Currently my passion is to design in thread. You will be seeing much more of this in 2025!
The Craft Yarn Council – bringing standards to these crafts for all.
